Pronominally marked noun determiners in Limbu

Syntactic and derivational use of possessive pronominal prefixes in Limbu (Tibeto-Burman, Nepal) and related languages is described. In particular, modifying constructions of the form "its-raw meat", found with a small group of words, mainly color terms, are presented in the context of other modifying constructions and compounding processes ("meat-raw", "fish-raw", etc.).
