Pseurotin A Isolated from the Polygonumi cuspidatum Endophytic Fungus CB50 and Its Activity Assay

2013
Objective:The strain endophytic fungus CB50 isolated from the stem of Polygonum cuspidatum was identified. The broth of CB50 was isolated. And the product was assayed for its antibacterial activity and antitumor activity.Method:The strain CB50 was identified by ITS sequence analysis. The product of CB50 broth was identified with 1H-NMR,13C-NMR,DEPT-90,DEPT-135,HMBC and HMQC.And the antibacterial activity was assayed with Klebsiella pneumonia and Bacillus subtilis,et al.The antitumor activity was assayed with A549 cells,et al.Result:Strain CB50 was isolated from the stem of Polygonumi cuspidatum and it was identified as Penicillium brevicompactum.Pseurotin A isolated from the broth of CB50 has the antibacterial activities to Klebsiella pneuomonia and Bacillus subtilis. And in addition,it has definite inhibition activity to the cell A549.Conclusion:Pseurontin A was firstly isolated from endophytic fungus of Polygonumi cuspidatum. And Pseurontin A has the antibacterial activities to Klebsiella pneuomonia and Bacillus subtilis and also the inhibition activity to the cell A549.
