Synergism of composition of nitrogen- and sulfur-containing compounds as a tribological active additive to lubricants

A composition containing ammonium salt of alkyldithiophosphoric acid with tetra(2-ethylhexyl)thiuramdisulfide is proposed as an effective tribological additive for lubricants. In addition, it provides a lower amount of sulfate ash, phosphorus, and sulfur in the motor oil. The composition demonstrates synergism if a fixed atomic ratio of sulfur to phosphorus is observed.
