The present invention provides an organic light emitting diode device and a manufacturing method thereof. The display device and the manufacturing method, performed by a photolithography process for patterning of OLED pixels, it is possible to perform patterning of large areas and to obtain a fine pitch, and can be passed over the upper portion of the organic compound layer in an organic light emitting diode (OLED) forming a buffer layer of a metal oxide or a mask for an organic compound layer is patterned to protect the organic compound layer, thereby improving the efficiency of the device by using as the cathode. Further, the red, green and blue pixels, by stripping treatment of the two pixel pattern, and the remaining one pixel is deposited to be formed without patterning, the process can be simplified and the efficiency can be increased.
