Response to the letter from Barash et al.

To the editor We appreciated that Barash et al [1][1] found our paper[2][2] of interest. They suggest the possibility that opioids may have been a driver of the dementia risk identified in the Framingham pain patient population. We do agree that opioids may increase or modify the risk of dementia
