Une rencontre avec François Jullien

The philosopher and sinologist Francois Jullien shows how his strategy of detour via China makes it possible to reveal the unthought aspects of European thought (causality, freedom, interpretation), which also concern, in its own way, ­psychoanalysis. He then describes what for him are the strengths and weaknesses of the latter in order to preserve the heart of its contribution: its capacity for shaking up our culture.
