B acteriophageTyping of Staphylococci in the Republicof Korea

A summary is presented of several studies by Korean investigators on the phage typing and antibiotic resistance of staphylococci isolated from varied sources during the years 1960 to 1965. The distribution of phage groups and of strains of the 52/52A/80/81 complex is described, and the relatively high incidence of antibiotic resi stant strains is reported.
