Advances in the regulation of microRNA and exosomes involved in muscle atrophy

2020
Exosome is a kind of specific extracellular vesicle. MicroRNA plays an important role in the exchanging and transportation of cells and the regulation of target cell. The study shows that exosome and internal microRNA act as messengers between cells, and are involved in development of various diseases, for example muscle atrophy. The microRNA regulation is involved in progress of muscle atrophy. In clinical, microRNA is a diagnostic marker and therapeutic target of muscle atrophy. This review focuses on the research progress of microRNA and exosomes involved in the regulation of muscle atrophy. Key words: MicroRNA; Exosomes; Muscle atrophy; Regulation; Research progress
