Hydraulic characteristics and structure of porous metal fiber materials
1973
1.
The regularities observed in the flow of liquids through a porous material can readily be explained by considering the ratios of some of their physical characteristics — density, viscosity, and surface tension (γ/μ andσ/γ).
2.
The liquid permeability of a porous material depends strongly on its wettability, increasing sharply with improvement in wetting.
