Frequency Domain Induced Polarization Characteristics of Cement Soil

2016
Cement soil is an artificial materials widely used in geotechnical engineering. The solidified mechanism of cement soil is more complex because the hydrolysis and hydration of cement perform around clay particles. In the paper, the induced polarization characteristics of cement soil samples test using electrochemical workstation in a self-design device, and the relationships of complex resistivity and frequency, phase angle and frequency of samples are obtained in different age. The results showed that the strengthen mechanism of cement soil can be showed by the dispersion characteristics of different age, and the dispersion effect of cement soil has obvious regularity. The dispersion parameters of cement soil can be characterized their macroscopic properties including the internal structure changes and permeability and so on. The electrochemical method is a used detecting technique for cement-based materials.
