Infrared Spectroscopy of OH-Induced Defects in Fluoroperovskites

2000
Hydroxyl is a common impurity in insulating crystals since it enters the lattice during the crystal growth. By interacting with other impurities, it gives rise to new complexes: such an interaction, well known in alkali halides [1], and to a lesser extent in oxides, deeply affects the peculiar properties induced by other impurities.
