Preliminary research on anti-depression effects of Xiaoyu Anshen decoction

OBJECTIVE To discuss the anti-depression effects of Xiaoyu Anshen decoction.METHODS Effects of Xiaoyu Anshen decoction was evaluated through mice forced swimming test and mice tail suspension test.RESULTS Xiaoyu Anshen decoction decreased the accumulative immobility time significantly in mice forced swimming test and mice tail suspension test,with high dose decoction being the best.CONCLUSION Xiaoyu Anshen decoction can improve the depressive condition of mice and have obvious effect of antidepression.
