Investigation of 365 teachers’ mental health in primary and secondary school

Objective To understand the mental health of this special group of teachers,for the promotion of teachers’ psychological health,to provide basis for mental health education.Methods Using the methods of questionnaire investigation,using symptom checklist(SCL-90) on 365 teachers’ mental health investigation.Results The SCL-90 score: a minimum score of 90 points,the highest score of 450 points,total score of 142 points,the standard deviation of 57.8,SCL-90 factor in somatization,interpersonal relationship,depression,obsessive,anxiety,positive score significantly higher than the national norm(P0.01),from the total scores ≥ 160 was used as the standard,the time out had psychological problems of 83 teachers,23% of the total frequency distribution,factor and proportional distribution,to factor SCL-90 score ≥2 points of a number,there are psychological problems of 81 people,and 83 basic similarity.Between men and women in factor scores showed no significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion The departments in charge of education in primary school,should pay attention to the mental health of teachers,promote the teachers psychological health.
