Возможность улучшения сортов-популяций подсолнечника по признаку одновременность зацветания растений

In field experiment with the variety SPK the efficiency of the single-time stabilizing selection for sunflower flowering simultaneity was studied. The selection was conducted by reciprocal pollination of the same-day flowering plants on the elite seed growing plot. The selected elite plants of the same-day flowering were studied in progeny. Seeds for check plots sowing were received from free pollinated plants of the same seed growing plot. The hybrid Legion was taken as a standard of flowering duration and uniformity. It is shown that such selection essentially improve large-fruited sunflower variety SPK both as flowering period duration as dynamic of individuals flowering in crop, approaching population to a hybrid in these parameters. The yield and weight of 1000 seeds remain at a level of the initial population.
