Cell Patterning Technology and Its Application in the Research of Embryonic Stem Cells

Cell patterning technology becomes an effective experimental tool in the studying and controlling of cell behavior as a result of the innovation of cell patterning methods and its application in the research of cell biology.This technology combines with material chemistry,electrochemistry,surface modification and other means to mold differents physical and chemical parameters such as morphology,roughness hydrophobicity in order to control cell adhesion,desorption,migration,differentiation and interaction between them dynamically,provides a new platform for the studies of cell biology.In this paper,the fabrication methods of cell patterning and the applications in the research of embryonic stem cells including culture and differention into myocardial cell were discussed.We also discussed and analyzed some current problems and solutions of the research.That supplied some information for further application and created a better platform for future cell biology study.
