Copper induction motor

2012
The invention relates to a copper induction motor. The copper induction motor comprises a shell, a stator and a rotor, and is characterized in that the rotor is formed by casting a copper material under low pressure. By the copper induction motor obtained by the invention, the conventional aluminum material is replaced by the copper material; and the electric conductivity of copper is about 1.5 times that of aluminum. Therefore, the size can be greatly reduced under the same power by comparing the induction motor which adopts a copper rotor with the induction motor which adopts an aluminum rotor in the prior art; the material of the matched parts can also be saved in the situation; and therefore, the cost of the motor is reduced. In addition, the problems in a production process are also taken into consideration; the low-pressure casting process is designed and used, so that the phenomenon that notch connection wires are excessive because a high melting point of the copper is higher than that of aluminum can be prevented; the product quality is reduced; and the surface damage and the cursor loss of a product can also be reduced. In conclusion, the copper induction motor obtained by the invention has the characteristics of high performance, convenience in production and low cost.
