The guild leader, a reflexive manager represented by his virtual double

2017
This study deals with the factors of influence for the reflexivity of a leader in a virtual context. The analysis is based on a sample of 75 heads of guild and officers. Our results show that the influence on reflexivity revolves around five main points: establishing a representation of oneself, rethinking one's representations and beliefs, developing one's skills, improving personal interaction and communication, and, finally, developing a way of acting or proceeding. The major contribution of this research is a new way of thinking about the reflexivity of a leader when he/she works and acts in a dematerialized environment that is distant and conducive to a certain amount of stealth (hidden, secret, and fast).
