1. IntroductionOcclusion of the gastroduodenal artery (GDA) may occursecondary to trauma. The serious complication of common bileduct stenosis secondary to occlusion of the GDA is uncommon dueto the collateral blood supply from the anterior and posteriorpancreaticoduodenal artery (PDA) arcades, and has not previouslybeen reported. We present a case with bile duct stenosis andobstructive jaundice following occlusion of the GDAsecondary totrauma.2. Case reportA 37-year-old man was admitted with a 1-year history ofobstructive jaundice. He had suffered right upper quadrantabdominal trauma requiring surgery 2 years previously.
