Correlation amplification of diffraction resonance in periodic structures

The paper describes an interconnection between serial placement of the two diffraction gratings and an increase of energy efficiency of defined diffraction order. In particular, diffraction efficiency for considered phase sinusoidal gratings in the first order is more than 40%.
