Crop Selection Using Data Analytics

Food is the basic human need to survive and grow. As the population increases the demand for the food also increases. To feed a larger population it is important to improve the methods used in agriculture sector. Proper crop selection is one such method that can help to reduce the wastage and can help the farmer to select proper crop according to his condition. This paper presents a methodology that can use easily available feature to the farmer to help and predict the best suitable crop for the land using Data Analytics technique. Data analysis is done for the model creation through which data is passed. The paper presents an algorithm named crop scoring that score the crop based on the model and crop with height score is shown as best suitable for the farmer.
