Determination of 2-Acetoxyisobutyryl Bromide by Gas Chromatography with Pre-derivatization

Indirect gas chromatographic method with pre-esterification for determination of 2-acetoxyisobutyryl bromide was studied based on the reactive system of 2-acetoxyisobutyryl bromide and isopropyl alcohol.The results show that the linear range of isopropyl-2-(acethyloxy)-2-methylpropanoate is (11.23～112.25) mg/mL, the correlation coefficient (r) is 0.999 4 under the optimum conditions.The method has been applied to the determination of title compound in sample,RSD is 1.06%(n=6),recovery is in the range of 95.1%～108.3%.
