The invention relates to the technical field of engines, in particular to an engine exhaust system and an engine applying the same. The engine exhaust system provided by the invention comprises a turbocharger, a selective catalytic reduction device, a bypass pipeline and a urea sprayer arranged on the bypass pipeline, wherein the gas inlet of the turbocharger communicates with an engine exhaust pipe; the gas outlet of the turbocharger communicates with the selective catalytic reduction device through a gas outlet pipe; and two ends of the bypass pipeline separately communicate with the gas outlet pipe and the engine exhaust pipe. According to the application, the bypass pipeline is additionally arranged between the engine exhaust pipe and the gas outlet pipe of the turbocharger; the gas getting port of the bypass pipeline is in front of the turbocharger, so that the temperature of waste gas entering the bypass pipeline is higher; compared with a traditional exhaust system, the engine exhaust system provided by the invention is advantaged in that the temperature of the waste gas mixed with urea is higher, the pyrolytic reaction of the urea is faster, so that the problem that the urea crystallizes because of incomplete pyrolysis can be effectively avoided; and besides, the assembly position of the urea sprayer is close to the engine, and is far away from the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) device, so that through changing the angle of the urea sprayer, urea mist can flow along the direction of air streams, and is not in contact with the inner wall of the pipeline.
