Phytophthora capsici Resistance of Some Pepper Varieties in Guizhou

The seedlings of 34 new pepper varieties were inoculated with blighting fungi by irrigating roots to identify their phytophthora capsici Leon resistance.The results showed that there were 1 variety with high resistance,11 varieties with resistance,15 varieties with middle resistance and 7 susceptible varieties in 34 tested varieties,and Huangpingxianjiao,Guijiao-1,Suiyangxiaomijiao,guijiao-3,Dushanzhoujiao 3,H29,1001,137,87-2-3,Dangwulajiao,Suiyangzhuijiao-2,Dushanxianjiao are of better resistance to phytophthora capsici Leon.
