Method for loading caption in video flow and player thereof

The invention discloses a method for loading subtitles in a video stream and a player. The method comprises the following steps: more than two selected subtitle files are identified and analyzed and the subtitle information thereof is read; the read subtitle information of the more than two selected subtitle files is checked to see whether the subtitle files are matched with each other, if yes, the subtitle information is stored; the subtitles are extracted from the subtitle information stored in the more than two selected subtitle files and superposed to the video stream output from an audio and video decoding module, and the subtitles are respectively adjusted according to adjustment instruction of the selected more than two subtitle files when the subtitles are superposed. The method and the player realize that the subtitles from more than two files are simultaneously loaded in the video stream.
