Research On the Operating Mechanism of the New-Round Urban Renewal

The past round urban renewal, which occurred since 1991 in Shanghai metropolis, obtained great achievements in improving living conditions and beautifying city appearance, but at the same time, came across many problems in operating mechanisms. Aiming at these problems, by discussing on the questions such as conducting subject, removing compensation, land supplying and governmental adjustment, the paper makes a deep research on the operating mechanisms suitable to the characters of the new-round urban renewal.
