BURDUR İLİNDE KADINA YÖNELİK ŞİDDET VAKALARININ COĞRAFİ BİLGİ SİSTEMLERİ İLE ANALİZİ

Many researches have been carried out due to incidents of violence against women, which have increased in recent years. Detailed information about the cases of violence can be obtained, especially with the opening of the Centers for Violence Prevention and Monitoring (CVPM). In order to form a policy of violence prevention, the data of the cases obtained should be analyzed correctly. Therefore, it will give an advantageous to quantify the data for verbal data analysis and to evaluate it in the Geographical Information Systems (GIS) environment. In this study the 2017 and 2018 incidents were analyzed from CVPM in Burdur province. Thematic maps created via determining the violence rates by population. According to the analysis, violence rates are mostly seen in Aglasun district. While the rate of violence was higher in the province of centrium and eastern districts in 2017, the rate of violence increased in 2018 in the western districts.
