A minireview of phospholipase A_(2), the major allergen in the venom of the honeybee

Phospholipase A_(2) is a major allergen in the venom of the honeybee which has been extensively studied. The biochemkstry, physiological and pharmacological activities, and allergy of phospholipase A_(2) are veviewed in this paper.
