Network storage system and method

The invention relates to a network storage system and method capable of reducing delay of client data access and improving throughput of client data access. The network storage system comprises a storage server, a client, a network and a network storage cache. The storage server is used for storing data. The client needs to access the data stored on the storage server. The network is connected between the storage server and the client, can send a data access request from the client to the storage server and sends the data read from the storage server back to the client. The network storage cache is provided with a storage device used for storing the data and connected with the network and can conduct communication with the storage server and the client through the network.
