A COLLABORATIVE APPROACH TO PLANNING

This paper discusses an approach to planning that involves the collaboration of state, university, city, and private and other government agencies, to better protect and smartly develop the Phoenix, Arizona area. Specific goals include (1) the protection of the desert ecosystem, (2) keep/create a sense of community in any new developments, and (3) development should include diversity.
