The present invention belongs to based line detection system of vision, and particularly to the cylindrical outer wall precision machining line imaging detector means with an online imaging testing, comprising a laser (2), the mirror (3), the optical path conversion mirror (4), the image reception process section (5); a laser through the laser mirror (2) issued (3) after reflection, projected onto the inner wall of the cylindrical surface to be measured; the optical path conversion mirror (4) and capture the diffuse reflection light spot converged onto the image receiving process processing portion; wherein the imaging line detection method comprising: an image acquisition part, an image pre-processing section, extracting the central spot portion, an inner wall distance calculating portion; the image pickup section reads the digitized image from the diffusely reflected light spot; part of the image pre the acquired image information is processed; extracting geometrical center of gravity of the spot center spot determining section; an inner wall portion of the distance calculating coordinates to the spot from an inner wall.
