Effect of End Shape of Blank on Cavity of Workpiece with CWR

The rolling process of blanks with different end shapes with CWR was simulated by DEFORM software.The influence rules of different end shape angle λ of rolled pieces on end cavity were analyzed.The results show that the end cavity reduces with the decrease of shape angle λ;the end cavity of workpiece can effectively reduce by designing reasonable shape angle λ.The results can provide theoretical basis for saving material and realizing no material loss end with CWR.
