Тактика и результаты хирургического лечения отслойки сетчатки у пациентов с артифакией

Purpose: To investigate the results of retinal detachment treatment in pseudophakic patients. Materials and methods: 225 patients with retinal detachment in pseudophakic eyes were examined. The average age of patients was 64 years. All patients underwent standard ophthalmologic examination, including B-scan. Results and discussion: in pseudophakic eyes, proliferative changes in the retina and vitreous body were more pronounced than in phakic eyes. Surgical treatment of pseudophakic retinal detachments is not as effective, as that in phakic eyes (the percentage of retinal reattachment is lower).
