Extending the service life of power-generating units at nuclear power stations in Russia

The results of scientific, technical and economic studies conducted in several countries, where nuclear power engineering has been developed, are presented. These results indicate that it is feasible technically and expedient economically to operate the power-generating units at nuclear power stations for a time longer than their design service life.
