espanolEl objetivo de este trabajo consiste en ofrecer una revision de la historia de la escuela, a partir de la Constitucion de 1812 hasta nuestros dias. Prestaremos especial atencion a las bases legales establecidas hace 200 anos en materia educativa y como han ido evolucionando hasta la realidad actual desde el sistema educativo liberal inicial. En primer lugar comentaremos la normativa de 1812 para conocer la situacion existente, cuando el Gobierno llevo a cabo iniciativas para mejorar la practica educativa, en torno a la idea de la constitucion de un sistema publico de ensenanza que abarcara todos los niveles educativos. Posteriormente, analizaremos la conformacion del pensamiento pedagogico. Nuestro trabajo finalizara con un repaso general comparando el pasado con el presente, y con perspectivas de futuro. EnglishThis paper provides an overview on the history of schools, from the Constitution of 1812 to nowadays. It describes the most important legal basis in education which was established 200 years ago and how they have evolved from the initial liberal education system to the current situation. First, we briefly describe the laws of 1812 in order to know the facts when the Spanish Government supported several projects to improve educational practice around the idea of setting up a state education system covering all educational levels. Then, we evaluate the creation of educational thought. Finally, we offer a general overview comparing the past with the present and future prospects.
