In this work, we provide elementary numerical support in favor of the fact that the process of nonlinear supratransmission is not present in continuous, spherically symmetric, three-dimensional sineGordon and Klein-Gordon systems initially at rest and which are driven harmonically at the origin. The results are in agreement with the well-known fact that spherically symmetric Klein-Gordon systems are incapable of building localized coherent structures when driven at the origin.
