The loss of fertility is devastating for patients in the reproductive age group. Counseling about fertility preservation (FP) varies extensively in developing countries and is bounded by many challenges. Many physicians are not used to involving patients in the decision-making process, where the whole family might be involved in the consultation. Consequently, reproductive concerns are not always addressed.
