Pipe stress analysis and layout of hot and cold piping

This chapter looks at how stress effects piping systems, and looks at the codes used to analyze stress analysis, basic formulas as well as a quick check formulas are explained for stress analysis. Included in this chapter are nomographs, design procedures are explained and critical line lists and stress applications are also examined.
