Location information providing method and device

The embodiment of the invention provides a location information providing method and device. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a keyword input by a first user through a server; determining a target user feature according to the keyword; determining a first region, wherein the first region includes a plurality of second regions; determining the quantity of second users having the target user feature in the second regions according to location information of users in the first region; determining a candidate region from the plurality of second regions according to the quantity of the second users; and providing the candidate region for the first user. Through adoption of the method provided in the embodiment, the accuracy of location information provided for the users can be increased.
