Síndrome de Stevens-Johnson probablemente asociado a tratamiento con amifostina durante la radioterapia

2004
The Stevens-Johnson syndrome is a muco-cutaneous disorder related to pharmacological agents. The most frequent cause is sulphonamides in 30% of cases. The incidence rate of severe cutaneous reactions secondary to amifostine is <1%; Stevens-Johnson syndrome being one of them. We report a case of Stevens-Johnson syndrome probably related to amifostine administration during radiation therapy.
