Construction of integrated ecosystem management information system in Xinjiang.

Xinjiang is one of the most serious land degradation provinces in China,so land degradation control has become the top priority of the ecological environment construction in Xinjiang.Because the division of labor and the limit understanding of land degradation,there were many problems in land degradation control.The Integrated Ecosystem Man-agement Information System was established based on integrated ecosystem management concept and using "3S" technolo-gies.The system has comprehensive functions of data collection,data transport,data memory,data input-out,analysis and decision-making,which could realize the integrated management of land degradation information,the unified releas-ing of land degradation date and the intuitive view of the status of land degradation.It might be an effective assistant tool for prevention and control of land degradation in Xinjiang.
