Molybdenum has multiple biological functions in plants.The content of available molybdenum in soils reflects the supply of soil molybdenum nutrient.Molybdenum nutrient closely relates to yield and quality of tobacco.The paper reviews the status of molybdenum nutrition in soils and research progress on application of molybdenum nutrient in tobacco,and puts forward the correlated research direction.
