Impact of Laying-aside Time on Result of Enzymatic Method for Determination of β-hydroxy Acid

Objective To discuss the influence of specimen laying-aside time on β-hydroxy acid(BHA).Methods 32 blood serum specimen with different density of β-hydroxy acid were laid aside a period of time at room temperature,to determine β-hydroxy acid with en zymatic method in 0 hour,1 hour,2 hours and 3 hours separately,using T-test and relative deviation for statistical analysis.Results By com parison of average density at different laying-aside time,relative deviation of 1 h,2 h,3 h was 1.75%,2.47%,10.3%;t value was 1.647,2.60,6.459 respectively,P value was 0.110,0.014,0.000 respectively,with statistic significance.Conclusions Laying-aside time is influential to the ketone body result;in the specimen exposition air,the determination should complete in 2 hours.
