To route flood waves in a fan-shaped basin, The kinematic wave flood routing was used. The governing equation for flood routing was discretized using a finite difference method, and the solution to the discretized nonlinear finite difference equation was obtained using the Newton-Raphson iteration method. I analyzed the sensitivity of the roughness of the basin, the basin slope, the central angle of the basin, and variable such as index m, all of which affect the results of flood routing. According to the results of the analysis, the greater the roughness coefficient of the basin, the gentler the basin slope, the smaller the central angle of the basin, and the greater variable m, the more gently the ascending segment of the outflow hydrograph increased and also the more gently the descending segment of the outflow hydrograph decreased. In addition, the input variable with the greatest effect on the outflow hydrograph was analyzed to be m.
