Inventory of data included in HITRAN2012 edition for water vapor between 6450 and 9400 cm−1

Abstract The water line list from 6450 to 9400 cm −1 available in the HITRAN2012 database has been seriously modified compared to the 2008 edition of the HITRAN database. These new data are organized in sixteen groups according to the origin of their references. This paper presents these sixteen groups and comparisons with others data sources, especially with a recent absorption water line list (Regalia et al., 2014). These comparisons allow to conclude that some disagreements are still present in the Hitran2012 line list between 6450 and 9400 cm −1 .
