Target tracking method and device on the basis of joint calibration

The present invention provides a target tracking method and a target tracking device on the basis of joint calibration. The method comprises the following steps of: enabling each coordinate point on a shooting view field of a first camera to correspond to each shooting control parameter of a second camera so as to generate a joint calibration table; detecting moving targets according to images obtained by the first camera, and searching the corresponding shooting control parameters from the joint calibration table according to coordinate positions of the moving targets; and controlling the movement of the second camera according to the shooting control parameters so as to generate images tracking the moving targets. According to the target tracking method disclosed by the present invention, the corresponding one-to-one relationship is formed between each coordinate point on the shooting view field of the panoramic camera and each shooting control parameter of the close-up camera; when the moving target of the panoramic camera is found by detection, the shooting control parameters corresponding to the moving target can be provided, so that the close-up camera can quickly position the moving target, can track and amplify the moving target and implements an effect of switching special effects.
