Cloning and sequence analysis of promoter of goat PCNP gene

The purpose of this study was to forecast the promoter of goat PCNP gene and its core region.The transcription regulation characteristics and the specific transcription sites were analyzed.According to the nucleotide sequence of bos PCNP gene,a PCR was performed to get the PCNP promoter sequence from goat genom.The PCR products were cloned and then confirmed by sequencing.Then the sequence cloned was analyzed by bioinformatics,finding the identity between the sequence cloned and the bos PCNP gene was 93%.It could be inferred that the sequence we got concluded the promoter region of goat PCNP.The promoter region of the goat PCNP gene was cloned successfully,which was the basic work for study the transcription regulation mechanism of PCNP gene.
