Исследование воздействия постоянного электрического тока на поведение микроорганизмов

2014
This work is dedicated to the study of the behavior of microorganisms in a constant electric field at various parameters of the electrochemical process that will serve as the basis for developing an effective method of wastewater disinfection. The paper presents a critical analysis of the known methods of water disinfection, including methods of electrochemical coagulation. The object of investigation used enrichment cultures of microorganisms destructors hydrocarbons. Culturing of microorganisms was carried out in a nutrient medium containing salts, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, magnesium sulfate and sodium nitrate, pH 4.8. The effect of exposure to a constant electric current power 9-19 mA with a voltage of 5 V for various times from 10 to 60 minutes to change the properties of the culture medium. As used platinum electrode and the aluminum plate. It is shown that depending on the material of the electrodes different patterns of change in the amount of biomass in the environment are observed, but in general the concentration of the microorganism cells in all parts of the electrolytic reduced. When using platinum electrodes coagulation biomass observed its accumulation in the cathode space. When replacing the platinum to an aluminum cathode, marked formation of coagulum alumina in the cathode space. The use of aluminum electrodes leads to the accumulation of coagulum alumina in the cathode space, oxidation of the aluminum anode and the deposition of aluminum on the cathode surface. The resulting alumina adsorbs on their surface microbial cells. Impact constant electric current for 10 60 minutes led to the death of microorganisms and inactivate remaining viable cells. It is shown that the electrochemical treatment of contaminated water can be considered as an effective method of disinfecting it.
