B-frame supported heterobimetallic species; molecular structure of [(Me3P)2Pt(Ph3P)(Ph2PC6H4)HIrB9H10]

The new heterobimetallic ‘B-frame’ compound [(Me3P)2Pt(Ph3P)(Ph2P[graphic omitted]H10] has been prepared in a systematic synthesis in an overall yield of 40% from nido-decaborane, and has been structurally characterised by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.
