Decline Analysis of Oil Well Stimulation Rule Using Matlab
2010
Well Stimulation and machinery extraction are two main methods which oil production engineer and related industries use to increase production. The purpose is to enhance the oil field final recovery ratio by speeding up the production rate of the petroleum fluids, especially for an old oil field development. We formulate a set of methods which is suitable for predicting output of well simulation in high water cut oil field. These methods are used in Shuanghe oilfield and it provided the foundation of the oil field natural decline regular pattern. Then also, a decline analysis model is derived based on reservoir characteristic parameters and it was used to analyze natural decline rates for the Shuanghe oilfield developed by water flooding. The formation factors and remaining oil saturation are included in this model, which reveals non-linear relationships between natural decline rates and the production time. We developed a new model to match the oil-production data from different blocks of Shuanghe oilfield and found non-linear relationship between natural decline rates and production time as foreseen by the new model. The results showed that the analytical model could sufficiently match the natural decline rate data. Decline analysis can be used to predict different oil wells production nature decline rule. Furthermore, we made a computer program in Matlab-m language to calculate the natural decline rates with any time. This program made it more easier and successful to predict the future decline rate. Finally, the analytical model was compared with conventional models.
