PREVALENCE OF CONGENITAL HEART DEFECTS AMONG 1- TO 64- YEAR-OLDS RECEIVING HEALTHCARE AT FIVE U.S. SITES, 2011-2013

Congenital heart defects (CHD) affect about 1% of U.S. births. Due to improvements in treatment, many individuals with CHD now survive to adulthood. However, few data exist to estimate the population prevalence of CHD beyond early childhood. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention grantees
